From the godet skirt and balloon sleeves to the delicately gathered neckline, there are so many reasons to fall in love with Matilda.
Matilda has boho styling at its core, romantic and comfortable. Matilda is effortlessly chic for any occasion.
The Skirt
You may have noticed by now that I am a huge fan of twirly skirts! When designing Matilda, that is where I started. The godets add flare to the hemline of the dress without adding weight to the skirt or bulk at the waistline. Perfect for girlies of all ages who love to twirl!
Add contrast godets, trims or topstitching for that extra wow.
The Neckline
Matilda features delicate gathering in to the mandarin style collar on both the front and back to add romance and also wearing ease.
The Sleeves
The boho free spirit and feminine flare continue through the sleeves of Matilda. The billowy balloon sleeves with wrist or elbow length can be finished in two ways. The elastic option is enclosed in the high low sleeve with bias and is a quick and relaxed finish to the sleeve.
The slim band option is a slightly elevated way to finish the sleeve. Both options are loose fit for comfort.
Finally the elastic waist is cleverly enclosed for comfort and softly pulls the waist in to flatter. A fully functioning front button placket makes for easy dressing and a polished finish.
