In Australia, almost all schools have compulsory uniforms so back to school sewing for me was always a new pencil case! It started simple with two rectangles of white sheeting fabric and a zipper and the personalisation came in the form of fun tie dye patterns. It was also one of the first things I learned to sew…. Memories!
