Spring and Summer 2025 … Sunshine and Handmade
It has been another busy 6 months designing at Vintage Little Lady! Almost as soon as we clicked in to 2025, I began work on a full design plan and I haven’t stopped!
After passing another couple of designs to the tester team (cue anticipation for exciting new patterns) I have a moment to pause and reflect on what the year has been so far and the new additions I have made to the VLL pattern collection 🫶
This spring & summer was all about embracing effortless style with patterns that were as fun to sew as they were to wear. From breezy midaxis, twirly flounced skirts to practical and comfy tees and overalls, each design told a story of handmade joy.
Spring stunner – meet Lottie
Lottie is the ultimate spring dress sewing pattern designed for coffee dates and sunshine strolls. The tiered skirt options give a whole lot of twirl factor but there is also an option for a modern crop top for a fun and super quick sew!
Flattering with maximum comfort was my aim when designing Lottie. The faux smocked waist is easy to wear while defining the natural waist. I love how the clean lines of the yoke and neckline merges with the softness of the gathered bodice. Choice between sleeveless or a simple puff sleeve options means it is perfect for all generations and occasions.
The testers chose a range of fabrics from sweet pastels to textured solids. Lottie looks stunning in lightweight cottons, lawn, seersucker, or double gauze.
Available in girls, tweens & women’s sizing as well as bundles. Shop all things Lottie here.
The flounce favourite – Stella
Floaty, feminine, and full of charm—the Stella dress was a highlight of our summer sewing lineup. With cascading flounces, a softly gathered waist, and a flattering silhouette, Stella brings a dreamy elegance. Whether stitched up for a special event or styled for everyday wear, this pattern shone in sizes for girls, tweens, and women. The neckline ruffles add sweetness and the skirt has just the right amount of swish.
The bodice with princess seams and v neckline front and back is soft yet structured.
For floaty, romantic vibes, we loved Stella in swiss dot cotton, voile, and rayon challis. Light lawn brought structure without bulk, while double gauze added a dreamy, crinkled texture that softened the look.

Pattern glow up – Riley & Louise for women
The much loved Louise & Riley patterns that had been previously available for babies, girls and tweens, finally got their glow up to women’s sizing!
The Louise Tee brings a soft silhouette with gathered sleeves and a gently relaxed fit that flatters all ages.
But let’s talk about Riley — available in pants, shorts, overalls and shortalls! With their tailored button-up front, high waist, and flared leg, Riley gives serious retro vibes while being endlessly wearable. Choose a structured denim for classic overalls, go bold with bright pants, or keep it breezy in linen shorts for warmer days.
Riley & Louise are available for baby, girl, tween, women’s as well as bundles! Click to shop Riley or Louise.
