Estelle and Ma Chérie – Two staple patterns that every Hepburn-lover’s wardrobe would not be complete without
The 1950s dresses are one of the most beautiful ladies fashion styles of all time. If we could have Audrey Hepburn’s Style for the rest of our lives, the result would be an effortlessly chic, timeless, and perfect wardrobe. Who wouldn’t want that?
Audrey Hepburn was a graceful lady who made true the cliché of beauty inside and out. Known also as a fashion icon who created a distinctive and classic look. She is my always “go to” inspiration.
So here they are – my “Estelle” dress inspired by the lovely ‘classic’ Audrey Hepburn herself and “Ma Cherie” the little darling lovely clutch.
Two staple patterns that every Hepburn-lover’s wardrobe would not be complete without, and that every fashion lover’s wardrobe probably needs.
Estelle Dress
Estelle dress is fitted through the bodice, then flares out into a classic twirly skirt. Boat neckline beautifully elevates the sophisticated elegance of the dress.
Add a few accessories -a chic hat, belt or gloves and you will have the whole Vintage look.
It is just a perfect outfit to wear to an outdoor picnic, stroll through the park or a fancy dinner.
Ma Chérie clutch
We all love small and cute projects. Ma Chérie will have your heart.
Ma Cherie adds a subtle touch of elegance and color to the outfit and can also be an extremely glamorous accessory in itself. At the same time, it is the perfect size to hold various small essentials such as car or house keys, cell phone and wallet. After all, these things are just as necessary at a formal evening soiree as at a day time picnic!
Clutch purses are the perfect complement for your spring or summer dress.
Ma Chérie is designed to help you to find everything and lose nothing.)))
Bigger Clutch is large enough to carry all the essentials, while small size is perfect as a coin bag.
They make fantastic gifts for family and friends. I kind of enjoy the feeling of twisting the clasps open with the fingers and then snap them close with a little snap sound)))
Ma Chérie is perfect for adding embroidery details.
What could be more feminine than satin, beads and sequins? Think big, you can make it different and unique!
The sewing process is pretty simple, and this is a nice project for using small or bigger kisslock purse frames.
2 Size options with Rectangle Metal Frame Kiss Clasp Lock for Purse:
6.1″x2.75″ or 3.15″x1.96″
You can find Kisslock frames on Amazon, Etsy, Joann’s etc.
Ma Chérie –Will for sure be your treasured thing, your darling, your small beautiful.
You’ll feel like you’re ready to walk down a runway when you carry this clutch. And You’ll find it impossible to keep yourself from singing and dancing.
Estelle & Ma Chérie…..Audrey would approve of this, hands down.
