Time to recognize 2 TALENTED seamstresses of VLL!!While we always have so many talented ladies submit and it is always SO HARD to choose, we have randomly chose 2 WONDERFULLY, creative ladies for the month of September! I am excited to introduce the two talented sewists that were chosen, Laura Leidig & Shannon Triplett.
Their sews were so very creative and well thought out down to the buttons, bows, and fabrics! Lauras sew features our Free sewing pattern “Baby Chloe Dress” while Shannon’s sew features our vintage sewing pattern “Tween Lacey Dress/Top” ! Both of these ladies have such STUNNING taste! They both have shared lovely photos and a SWEET back story of how they got started in the journey of sewing and their thoughts & details on each one of their sews! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey of these two ladies below!

Laura’s VLL Sew – Baby Chloe Dress
A Word from Laura:
I’m Laura, a stay at home to three wonderful kids, 2 boys and a little girl. I was taught to sew by my mom and grandma from a young age and it’s been a lifelong love. I’ve sewn everything from bags and quilts to costumes and clothes. I really got into sewing clothes when my oldest was a baby. When my little lady was born last year it really kicked my love of sewing clothes up a notch! I love making her dresses and cute things to wear that are truly one of a kind and embody her personality. I only recently discovered Vintage Little Lady patterns and immediately fell in love! All the patterns are exactly the sort of look I love for my daughter. When I participated in the Eva Sew along I learned how to do pintucks and was really looking forward to trying them out on something. The Baby Chloe pattern was the perfect base to give them a shot and I just love the way they turned out. The leaf buttons I’ve been holding onto for a while and they really gave this dress the little touch of fall I was looking for. I look forward to making many more beautiful VLL patterns for my little lady, and learning new techniques and tips from the community along the way.
